Thanks Rita, for getting back to me. I actually talked to someone after I posted the comment to the group and she said it would be ok to participate since I,too, have my own snowshoes, so it looks like I will see you there tonight....It should be fun!

If you have your own snowshoes, you can probably still participate tonight even though Eastman says the class is full. But you should call their reservation number to put yourself on Eastman Nature Center's participant list, and you still need to pay $5. I just called the reservation number and was transferred to someone who allowed me to put my name on the participant list because I have my own snowshoes. I hope that helps people!

I am planning to be there with a friend. If cloudy, can we see well enough to hike at night? Anyone willing to provide a cell phone # in case we have trouble finding the group.

Depends on the amount of cloud cover... I think there will be a few passing clouds, but visibility should be good enough. A headlight never hurt to have handy or a small LED flashlight.

Not going to be able to get there early enough after work.

Have to work until 8pm that night. Can anyone be the point on this one?
