Dolphin watching at Whitley Bay

Seeing dolphins always makes us feel great. There's never been a better time to see them off the north east coast. I'm proposing a wander from the Spanish City at Whitley Bay along to St Mary's Island and back keeping an eye out for dolphins offshore. I'll bring spare binoculars if anyone wants them. Of course, they're wild animals so no guarantees exactly where they will turn up!
