This is a regular walk in (what I consider) the most amazing nature place anywhere in the Lothians.
There are a few different routes and I will chat with attendees about which we want to go on. In any case, the walk will be around 4-5 miles long, with a lot of ascending and descending, plus usually one or more obstacles. These walks are not suitable if you have mobility problems, sorry!
To get to Roslin from the city, catch the 37 bus heading to Penicuik, and get off when the driver tells all the tourists it is time for Rosslyn Chapel. Please do not get the 15 because it no longer goes to Roslin.
We will meet outside of Rosslyn Chapel and walk from there around the graveyard and into the glen.
I usually finish the walks at lunchtime, outside a pub.
Dogs are okay, so long as you bring a lead with you and can lift them over a fallen tree if required.
