Welcome to Kai Elua!
This is a great time for new people/paddlers who want to try out this amazing sport. Off Season Rec Practices will be hosted on Saturdays at 9am, 8:30am in the parking lot from mid-October through the end of February for new and experienced folks. (The coaches will take over during the race season from March through September.)
We have the canoes, paddles for people to borrow during practice, etc. Please make sure to bring water for yourself to HYDRATE and put sunscreen on at home so it doesn't get on our equipment. It is important that you respect the beach site (keep it clean) & equipment.
Directions: http://kaieluaoutrigger.com/practice-location/ - Find us in the public parking lot. Make sure to sign in.
All paddlers must sign a waiver: http://www.socaloutrigger.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/SCORA-Liability-Waiver-2014.pdf (http://www.socaloutrigger.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/SCORA-Liability-Waiver-2013.pdf) & a Paddler Code of Conduct Agreement.

P.S. Off Season is free. However, donations are welcomed for use of equipment. If you paddle during the season, rates are posted on the home page under dues and it covers your race fees through the iron and sprints season.
P.S.S. If you are paddling often during the off season, please pay the booster rate. It can be applied to your membership during the season. http://kaieluaoutrigger.com/club-dues/
