Joins us for the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Old Town San Diego
"The 30th Annual Old Town Fiesta Cinco De Mayo is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration north of the border. This three-day fiesta has an incredible variety of festivities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be surrounded by the history and culture of Mexico!
Two event stages will entertain with sizzling flamenco beats, Norteno flairs and traditional Mariachi music. Explore the museums, specialty shops, and the lively streets of the bustling Mercado where you can purchase an array of merchandise: handmade leather pieces, beautiful jewelry and many more treasures."
We will meet in front of the Old Immaculate Conception Church (corner of San Diego Ave. and Twiggs St.) at 8:45AM, do the group photo and start shooting at 9:00AM. The actual event does not start until 11:00AM, but by starting early we will have less problems parking, get better photos without crowds and also get better photos of the people in costumes. There will be many photo-ops on this shoot.
It will be difficult for us to stay together in a large groups, so we will probably break into smaller groups. Because of the nature of the shoot a larger number of RSVP's is available.
Any questions or comments, contact Walter via email. There will probably be several updates. Here is alink to the event:
