This was the best paddle I have had this year. Thanks everyone for making it enjoyable.

Parking is limited. Lots of fishermen here.

See everyone that is going at the launch. Hopefully the weather holds for a few more hours.

Doug planned the paddle. I will not be back from Lexington for the trip.

Love to join. But I don't have the proper clothes for the thunderstorm in the morning. I hope you all have great fun out there.

hey Michael and Doug looks like great paddle - need a rain check due to recent surgery - will do the next time, have always wanted to explore that part of the Cumberland - just up river from here at Drakes Creek Bend. How long will you paddle?

Any idea what the current will be like? It's been windy as hell (out of the west) here in Louisville.

I understand. I guess I will skip this one, but keep an eye open for more adventures a little later on. I have a dry suit, etc. so would love to go out with your group.

I will be putting together a trip the weekend after Easter that should be a good one to see Fancher Falls. If the Cumberland trip is good , I may also start to do point to points on the Cumberland.

How long and what is the estimated duration of the paddle? Would be coming from Louisville (3 hours away)
