Summer Camping on an Island on the Cape

I would like to arrange a weekend (Fri/Sat night) kayak camping trip to Washburn Island on the cape. The island is 3 miles from shore along a sheltered route, but it can be challenging if it is windy. You must be able to bring all your gear and food for the weekend in one trip in your kayak, including water, as there is non on the island. It is "primitive" camping with no amenities except for an outhouse. It would be helpful if you have had some kayak camping experience, or at least backpacking experience so that you know what you need to bring for yourself and if it will fit in your kayak. The island has hiking trails and many beautiful beaches. The kayaking has something for everyone with coves, marshes and open ocean (Nantucket Sound) to choose from.
I would make the reservation for a weekend in June, either 4/5 or 11/12. The cost would be very reasonable, and vary between around $5-$15 per person for the weekend, depending on group size. I would imagine that there are those who would like to go that may have a 2-man tent that they would be willing to share with someone who is tent-less. If this is something you would like to do, let me know if you have a tent to share or need a tent to share. Also, let me know if you have a backpacking stove you can bring (we cannot have a fire). You are not obligated at this time, but once I make a reservation, and have a final count, I will accept payment to reserve your spot. We will share the cost evenly amongst those who sign up to come. We can plan the details as the time gets closer.
Please get back to me today, if possible, so that I can make a reservation before the spots are taken. There is only 1 group site on the water, and it will go fast. You do not need to reply if you cannot go, but if you have questions, feel free to send me an email.
