Updated Kayak Camping Message

Please forgive me for clogging your inbox with emails. When I sent out my first message, I thought I had chosen to have all the emails come to me and not the whole group. If you respond to this message, and not the previous one, emails should come directly to me and not to the group. That will solve the "approval" delay problem.
Based on a number of positive responses I have made a reservation for the group site on Washburn Island for arrival on June 4th, and departure on June 6th. There is still room for more people. If you would like to join us, please tell me if you have the necessary equipment, and if not, what you need. The group will try to accommodate those who need to share or borrow equipment.
To recap: This is a kayak camping trip to an island 3 miles from the launch, along a shore route, where we might encounter some wind, but it is otherwise an easy paddle. You need to fit all of your gear (tent, pad, bag, etc), including borrowed equipment, food, clothes and water into your kayak to make it to the campsite in one trip. There are hiking trails, beautiful beaches and a variety of paddling opportunity in protected or exposed water.
Details will follow at a later date. You are not under obligation at this time. Once a list is finalized, payment will be required to hold your spot. It will be very reasonable ($5-$15), and will be shared equally by all who sign up.
