From: Star F.
Sent on: Friday, June 29, 2012 10:22 AM
I mentioned this last night at the meet-up.  Here is more information.

Tuesday, July 3
Vigil, Petition and Labyrinth Walk to Honor Lightning Medicine Cloud (the while buffalo calf)
Location: Butler Park, 1010 Barton Springs Rd. (east of Dougherty Arts Center), 7 p.m.

Yew Grove Pagan Interfaith and the Social Action Committee stand in solidarity and sorrow with the First People tribes who are bereft over the killing of Lightning Medicine Cloud—honored by the Lakota people and other Native American tribes as a being of prophecy in their spiritual tradition—and his mother, Buffalo Woman. We invite you to gather in circle with us to honor Lightning Medicine Cloud’s message, walk between the worlds of justice and mercy, and move forward in our lives with peace in our hearts. More info for events: “Calendar” at www.austinuu.org/yewgrove.
