We will once again be meeting in the 'salle à manger' of the Café Hugo. The entrance is one door to the right of the main Café Hugo, separate from the café itself. You will see "Salle à Manger" in (literally) neon lights above the door. Any confusion, text/call[masked].
We will be joined this time by author Hazel Manuel, who will read a selection from her recently published novel "The Geranium Woman". She mentioned that it has a strong equality theme, so will be well timed for March 8, which is International Women's Day.
PLEASE NOTE: if you reply 'yes' but are unable to come, please update your RSVP. It's a much-appreciated courtesy to me, your fellow writers, and the venue that has reserved space for us.
--> Repeated no-shows will be banned. <-- I am going to start getting more serious about this, especially because no-shows take the place of others who want to attend.
Please bring your work, whatever the genre - fiction, poetry, theater, blog, history, etc. - and/or your abilities in constructive criticism. If you'd like written comments on your text, please make 5 or 6 extra copies.
You are welcome to come whether or not you have work to share.
Finally, please bring 1 euro to help offset what meetup.com charges me for hosting the group.
