Knitnik and Music under the stars!

As a good tradition, The New York Philharmonic Orchestra continues its FREE performances in Prospect Park. I went last summer, and let me assure you, there is nothing like a music under the sky; it is so much better that any concert hall you can imagine! This summer it will take place on Friday, July 16th, at 8 pm. The program includes: 1) Tchikovsky - Polonaise from Eugene Onegin; 2) Bernstain - Symphonic Dances from West Side Story; 3) Prokofiev - selections from Romeo and Juliet. As always, the free concert will follow up by a fireworks display.
laughing I would like everyone who likes the description above, plus knitting, plus a good company, plus a snack outdoors, to come to Prospect Park around 6:30.
Let's meet at the monument at the entrance from 9th Street & Prospect Park West Avenue. We'll wait 15 minutes for those who may be coming from different neighborhoods, and then get ourselves a nice spot for the concert on the long meadow. We can eat and knit until sun goes down, and even after, if you bring a safe candlelight or a clip-on book light with you. Folding chairs are very comfortable on events like this! If you don't have one, a blanket will do! For everyone who may be late, please feel free to call me: [masked], and I will do my best to guide you to our location.
smileI hope to see many of you there!
wink Olga.
