How long have you been knitting, crocheting or spinning?

On and off since the Knit-Out at Union Square several years ago.

What else do you love besides knitting?

crochet, needlepoint, reading, attending music events, playing board games/card games, attending Jewish activities, and being a teacher of young children.

What do you want most out of this group?

To get to know other knitters/crocheters and get inspiration for and help with future projects.

How would you describe your knitting/crochet style? (i.e. monogamous or multiple projects on the needles; a process knitter or product oriented)

process oriented; I like experimenting with color, motifs, and various stitch patterns and textures, and combining knitting with crochet or plastic canvas needlepoint. Sometimes I knit to relax, but other times I like more challenging projects. I never just work on one project at a time.

Tell us about your current project(s)...

I'm crocheting a sweater for a three year old girl, working on two small knitted/crocheted wall hangings, and am knitting my first shawl with Lion Brand Sock Ease.

Hi, I am very into knitting as well as crochet and needlepoint. I am interested in expanding the types of things I can make and improving my skills.
