A couple of events happening this weekend of particular interest to Italianisti:

  • On Saturday, December 1  at 7:00 p.m. Holy Rosary Church is hosting a free performance featuring Orchestra of Toscanini New Symphony Project with world class conductor, Giuliano Grisi of Italy. Mr. Grisi has performed with such luminaries as Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta and Placido Domingo and he has worked with musically important companies, including The Paris Opera and The Orchestra of the Arena in Verona.  The musical program includes Mozart's Divertimento n.1 in D Maj. K 136 and G.B. Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. The address is 595 Third Street NW, Washington D.C. (Judiciary Square Metro, Red Line). No ticket needed.
  • On Sunday, December 2 from 10:00am - 3:00pm Toscana Cafe is hosting at Italian Christmas Market organized by The Italian Women's Club of DC (Le D.I.V.E).  Here's a link to more information:­
