LA JOLLA ART MURAL WALK AND SOCIAL AT THE FLOWER POT

Two years ago, San Diegans Over 50 organized a one mile walk through La Jolla to view example of the ever-changing artistic wall mural art that decorates the streets of La Jolla. We meet in front of the La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art, 700 Prospect Street. New art has been painted and now is the time to put on your walking shoes to spend approximately 1.5 to 2 hours walking, talking, and enjoying the street art of La Jolla. We then plan to stop at The Flower Pot Cafe and Bakery, 7530 Fay, with its own artistic displays where we can socialize with one another. We will wear name tags to ease conversation with new friends. Depending on how it all goes, I might do a door prize afterwards. Two factors control this meetup; Daylight Savings will be gone with darkness sooner than now; the un predictable weather, so plan on hats and coats... just in case.
