I'm arranging a group photoshoot with a group of 4-8 dancers that have just recently formed so they'd like images for their portfolios both individual and group shots.

A wardrobe stylist and a make up artist will be provided to the models. This shoot will be limited to 3 photographers per model, so the number of photographers might be increased or decreased closer to the day of the event. We may allow up to 18-20 photographers, but for the moment, we will limit the rsvp's to 10.

Location of the shoot will be indoors and I'm working to try to get a showroom in a casino in Gardena and will update as soon as the venue location is confirmed.

Hours will be from 8am - 3pm. Shooting time will be from 9am-2pm. This will allow 1 hour for the models makeup/dressing and photographers lighting setups and 1 hour for the photographers to burn CD's/DVD's of images for each model.

All photographers must agree to provide images to the models taken immediately on site.

Cost to photographers is $25.00 to cover models travel expenses/ makeup/ wardrobe/venue costs, etc.

This is a TFCD shoot for your own ports, if you want a full model release, the cost may be extra ($10-20), it is yet to be determined.

If there are Models in our group who wish to participate, please contact Asst. Organizer Darrell L and submit your photos and if accepted, you can also get images from the shoot at no cost to you. I can only accept 1 or 2 models at the most depending on the number of the dance troupe.

All models will be over 21 and there will be no nudity allowed. The models will be dressed in very hot sexy outfits however.

I have 2-3 portable backdrops and seamless paper that I will bring and I have a set of strobes and one set of two 1000w hot lights will be free to use. If you do not have yor own strobes and would like use of my strobes, please add $10 more (max 4 shooters - to cover cost of strobe bulbs/wear and tear) or $35 total for this event.

You are encouraged to bring your own lighting and studio gear as we could use 2-3 more strobe setups. It is entirely up to you if you wish to allow others to use your own lighting setups or not. It's your gear.

The showroom also have red leatherette booths and tables that might also be interesting to shoot at as well.

So for $25-35 you are getting several attractive models to pose individually and in groups, 2-3 backdrops, hot lights and strobes, make up artist and wardrobe stylists and a large indoor location. To book a shoot such as this on your own would cost you thousands of dollars for a 1/2 day shoot.

If you RSVP Yes, you must be willing to make a full $25 or $35 advance payment via Paypal and I will email you a paypal link after Dec 10th and you will have 3 days to make payment or you will be unrsvp'ed and your spot given to another photo member. If you must cancel and another member can take your spot, you will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations 48 hours before the event will only receive a 50% refund of their deposit. Sorry.

I suspect this will fill up immediately, so you must have a paypal account or be willing to open one, otherwise, don't bother signing up. Thank you. No payments will be requested until I can lock up the location and the models schedules which won't be until after 12/10.

How to RSVP
Please indicate in your RSVP what equipment you plan to bring for the shoot.
If you wish to use Darrell's strobes, please indicate in your RSVP.
If the RSVP's are full, RSVP NO and write WAIT LIST in the Comment Box to be added to the list if we can add more spots to the shoot.
