A Job has been created in group Portland (Oregon): Freelance Developer -OR- Themer | Serverlogic
Serverlogic is looking for freelance themers and/or developers!
Hey everyone! Over here at serverlogic we’re pretty busy, and in an effort to help keep us as dynamic as possible, we’re interested to know who is doing freelance work in the area for when we get completely slammed and need to bring some people onboard. So, please respond if you’re interested!
We do a lot of fun projects here, ranging from libraries, to colleges, to large international companies. We also tend to turn to the people we know and have worked with when we hire so there's a lot of opportunity for ongoing work to possible full time employment (should you desire it).
We're looking for Developers -AND/OR- Themers. People with either (or both!) skill sets are encouraged to contact us!
Desired Themeing Skillsets
If you can convert a PSD To html, get it into a custom drupal theme, and know views/cck inside and out we're looking to work with you.
Knowing PHP is useful, but you don't need a ton of skills here, just enough to do some interesting stuff with CCK fields on a node template level
Jquery skills are very helpful, specifically if you know how to do custom Jquery builds (say, build your own carousel from scratch). Knowing how to work with pre-made jquery plugins is somewhat useful as well.
Panels 3 - We use it a lot, if you know it great, if not we can show you it, it's pretty useful!
Drupal 6 and 7 familiarity - Drupal 7 is rad, but a good chunk of our projects are still hanging out in Drupal 6. Knowing 6 is a definite added bonus
Strong familiary with CCK, Views is of course mandatory. Familiarity with a variety of other module sets is nice.
Desired Developer Skillsets:
Custom views handlers and use of views hooks
Ctools API, including plugins, custom contexts, access handlers, and multi-step forms
Custom CCK fields
Performance and troubleshooting in linux server environements, include apachesolr, memcache, and varnish
Please respond with the following (I will be out of the office until next week, but next week I will respond promptly!):
A quick explenation of why you're awesome!
Hourly rate desired.
Thanks for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you and/or working with you!
