Please acknowledge that you will give real consideration to the following questions. We are a group of writers that are serious about establishing writing goals and actively working toward those goals and we are seeking more of the same.

What genres do you like? Who are your favorite writers?

Read and enjoy everything from David Sedaris to Jeffrey Deaver. I know, the later is not high literature; just like the plots!

Have you chosen a particular format? Novel, Short story, poetry, etc. Please elaborate.

I write non-fiction, specifically business. (I know a few of you just fell asleep.) I write a blog, and have a lit agent shopping a book about getting a job in a startup, keeping that job and knowing the signs you may need to run screaming from that job. It explores the mindset and quirks of entrepreneurs and offers tips for succeeding and surviving if you work for that particular subset of bosses. All backed in science and studies, illustrated with examples from well-known entrepreneurs, celebrity entrepreneurs, even fictional entrepreneurs. Told in a tongue-in-cheek tone, so the reader can relax and laugh at their situation and their boss. Think Malcolm Gladwell meets Dilbert.

If you could write your short bio on a book jacket , what would it say?

Ugh. Sounds like the book proposal all over again. Please don't make me! :)

We ask that you read and acknowledge that you understand RULES OF THE ROAD (Posted under 'pages'). Also, for writing tips, tools, and upcoming webinar news, SIGN UP at PenPaperWrite here -

Hmmm. Didn't find anything titled Great Expectations on the Pages tab. But I'll agree to anything to get to spend some time with seasoned writers!

Hi guys! Checking out a few writers groups. I can't believe how many working, published writers are in this one. Excited to join and to learn from everyone.
