Please acknowledge that you will give real consideration to the following questions. We are a group of writers that are serious about establishing writing goals and actively working toward those goals and we are seeking more of the same.

What genres do you like? Who are your favorite writers?

I write short stories, poetry, romance and fantasy. I'm currently working on a contemporary love story. My favorite writers are Zora Neale Hurston, Octavia Butler, PJ Tracy, Lee Child, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss & so many more, too numerous to name.

Have you chosen a particular genre? Format? Please elaborate: (I write short story horror, poety, romance novels, etc)

Making up a genre - poetic, lyrical fantasy-love stories.

If you could write your short bio on a book jacket, what would it say?

Although I chose a practical career as my profession, I’ve always envisioned myself as a writer. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to write something. I fell in love with writing in middle school and have been in love ever since. Despite the frustrations of writing and no matter how long I stay away from my writing projects, my love of writing always reappears like a persistent lover. I have no choice but to welcome it and hone my writing skills.

We ask that you read and acknowledge that you understand RULES OF THE ROAD (Posted under 'pages'). Also, sign up here at to receive writing tips and news from PenPaperWrite.

I have read the Great Expectations guidelines.

I'm an aspiring writer who felt stuck. PenPaperWrite helped me get unstuck and out of a writing rut.
