What we’re about

Encounter groups are people talking in a room for a couple of hours. There's a special trick: one person talks and the others listen. This just makes sure everybody hears what's said. There's no rule about interrupting; everybody will talk. You'd attend a group if you're interested in communication skills.

Considering how many interactions there will be, I'm happy that I can't predict what'll happen. But I can list trends:

1) In everyday life, people misunderstand intention more frequently than they do literal words. But inside the group, people have time (a couple of hours) to be and feel understood.

2) Because participants are listening without distraction, your words land harder.

I hope those two trends encourage you to attend.
