Uh oh, they are "modernizing" again... Wonder what that (double speak) might mean to those of us who are small producers offering fresh, local, non-Chem laden & natural (real) foods.

 Cui Bono: I am a complete cynic ... Past experiences have made me wary w/ Cut lettuce being considered a "potentially hazardous food" & regs instituted to keep us all "safer" & such --  heaven help us. (The "Boy in the plastic bubble" comes to mind-- Maybe We'd all be "safer" in the climate controlled conditions they create for us all inside the Matrix?). News flash to FDA/dept of Ag: life is risky. Walking down the street.. Risky... 

Anyway, Let's hope for the best (expecting the worst & then-- be ready to adapt as needed):
