The history & real purpose of yoga

From: Melissa M

Funny, how many US Yoga studios concern themselves exclusively with the "material" aspects of the discipline (fitness, flexibility...) when, in reality, the history of the discipline was to distance oneself from the material. It's all about the "bling" now (here, at least), zero substance (spiritual growth). Our culture has certainly found a way to make a good buck on vanity, that's for certain!
