What book would you recommend for H&WR?

_Transmission_ by Hari Kunzru _Never Let Me Go_ by Kazuo Ishiguro

What's your favorite book?

If I had to pick I'd say _The Book of Laughter and Forgetting_ by Milan Kundera. But each book has it's own to offer and I don't really have a favorite.

What book do you love but you're afraid to admit it?

I prefer to listen to books rather than read them, e.g., people usually look down on this. Also, I like Tony Hillerman and Nevada Barr.

I joined this meetup years ago when I first arrived in Philly. Intro was "new in town" and "not very well read". But now, holding one of the longest memberships in this group, I'm updating this to "well read", and "almost hip".
