Day Trip to Hike @ Delaware Water Gap (4.5-5.5 miles)

Hello there! There was a fair amount of interest in taking a day trip for a hike. So, here we go! Please use this description as a playbook.

Please contact me as needed! This trip is intended to strengthen our connections with each other, have fun, and take in some amazing views.

This will be a 4.5 to 5.5-mile hike with decent elevation. We will take an offroad trail through the hills and take breaks as needed.

The trail is at Delaware Water Gap and goes up to Mount Minsi. The trail we are going to follow can be found at the link here: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/pennsylvania/mount-minsi-via-appalachian-trail

Once the hike is done, we will get some food and then head home.

To keep things tight and easier to manage, this event is limited to 15 people in total. One guest is allowed.

A high-level of personal conduct is expected. Update your RSVP as time progresses. This event is being posted on July 20, 2025. RSVPs close on August 16, 2025, at 10 AM. This leaves everyone with almost four weeks to get schedules figured out. Please join if you are confident you are going to attend.

You are locked in on August 16, and non-attendance may result in a warning if a reason is not provided. Bear in mind, when someone does not attend an event with an attendee limit means someone else on the waitlist was excluded from enjoying a fun day with great people.

Please come ready for a workout! Also, bring proper footwear, suitable clothing, water, and snacks.

We will meet at the parking lot noted in the location and begin soon after.

Food will be at TBD, near the start/end location. I am going to update the description over the next few days. I wanted to make sure I got this event published to allow people enough time to make plans.

Transportation logistics are up to you. Drive solo or carpool with folks you know. Feel free to use the comments section to communicate whatever you may need to.

As most people shy away from events when it rains, the rain rain date is August 30, 2025.
