Discover What All The Buzz is About on E. Passyunk: Will BYOB, $45 Prix Fixe

Will BYOB is my new favorite foodie restaurant in Philly. The venue is a small, intimate setting. The service is congenial and impeccable. However, it's the surprising, delectable flavors and beautiful presentation of the cuisine that has Philadelphia Magazine and many other media outlets raving about WILL BYOB and proclaiming that Chris Kearse is the top new chef in Philly. All I know is that when I taste each eagerly anticipated course there, I close my eyes and emit a delightedly astonished sigh.

From Will's website: "Will is a modern French inspired BYOB, located on East Passyunk Avenue in the heart of South Philadelphia. Chef and Owner Christopher Kearse and his team prepare a menu focused on its season, respecting French traditions along with classic and modern techniques to build a dining experience that evokes excitement and emotion.

Our four- course Sunday menu is a great way to sample items you otherwise would not see on our a la carte menu. Ingredients found at surrounding farmer's markets give inspiration for this weekly featured menu."

Read Philly Magazine's restaurant review including the story of Chef Kearse's overcoming personal tragedy on the road to culinary professional success:

http://www.phillymag.com/articles/philadelphia-restaurant-review/

The cost of the prix fixe dinner is $45. Hopefully you are game for a culinary adventure, since the specific menu items for this date will not be available until a few days ahead -  the Chef likes to keep things fresh and surprising. Separate checks will be given, and both cash and credit cards are accepted. Feel free to bring your favorite wine or other alcoholic beverages.

** Note:  No-shows for this event are not an option. First, the restaurant is tiny and we will account for a significant portion of seating. Second, I personally will be accountable to pay a certain amount for each guest who fails to come without a 24-hour prior cancellation, which I trust will not be necessary.

All those who RSVP affirmatively will be receive an emailed request a week beforehand to confirm their attendance, so your kind cooperation and commitment will be appreciated.

Metered street parking may be found near the restaurant on E. Passyunk, but to my knowledge, parking there is free on Sundays, so no need to load up on quarters for the old-fashioned meters. Two-hour timed parking may also be found on side streets.

So come and experience this outstanding restaurant located in the hub of Philly's newest hot spot.  Looking forward to a memorable evening with new friends.

Feel free to call or text me at[masked] if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,

Adrienne

Thanks, Andy! it was a super fun night. Very nice and interesting group, groovy dishes, fun Capo Giro run after (I'm looking at you, Brad :) ). Glad we could raise belated and upcoming birthday and anniversary toasts to our favorite Irish castle cavorting couple. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! Cheers, and have a great Thanksgiving (or Thanksgivukkah in my case, the only time in 17,000 years Hanukkah and Thanksgiving collide). Chocolate dreidles and Turkey with your potato latkes, anyone?

Just a reminder to those of you on the waiting list and who may have not RSVPed. Michael Mark had made a reservation to Will on the same day as our dinner, Nov. 10th, a bit earlier than ours, at 5:00. If you care to take his table, as he will not use it afterall, please email Michaell Mark directly now, as he will need to cancel it soon otherwise. You won't be sitting right at our table, but you will be close enough to mingle and kind of share the experience with us. Thanks!

Hey, wait list RSVPs, Michael Mark reserved a table for that night, Nov. 10th, at Will, separately from our 8 limit. If any of you want the table, please email Michael so he won't cancel it, and he can change it to your name, Thanks.

Thanks to all of those attending for giving me final confirmation. If something comes up suddenly to force you to change your plans, please email directly those on the waiting list to find a replacement, since as you know, I will have financial responsibility if you don't cancel 24 hours ahead. Hopefully, I will see all seven of you there without a hitch. Can't wait!

Hi, fellow eager foodies. I am delighted with the enthusiastic response to the posting. Something must have struck a chord, since the 8 available spots were filled in a NY minute, despite the early a.m. hour. As terrific as the positive response is, I regret that so many interested members will not be able to join us this time. Many center-city restaurants are tiny, resulting in a cozy ambiance but very limited space. In fact, the entire seating capacity of Will BYOB is only 28!
Regrets to those of you on the waiting list, but if the reviews are favorable, we can plan a return visit soon with first priority given to you. Thanks for your patience.
    Looking forward to meeting you,
    Adrienne
