PLEASE NOTE: this is a bike ride, rather than our usual walk: we are combining previous year's events due to time crunch on the part of our organizers. Last year's event can be viewed here: https://www.meetup.com/phillyhikes/events/248095961/

This is the next installment exploring possibilities for a future trail (to be part of the East Coast Greenway network of trails) connecting Tinicum National Wildlife Refuge with Valley Forge Historical Park: this segment includes the already existing Radnor & Chester Valley Trails.
We will begin at SEPTAs Villanova Regional Rail Train Station (Paoli-Thorndale line): the train arrives at 11:12am. We will bike from there to the Norristown High Speed Line Villanova station, meeting any folks who chose to wait after arriving on the 11:25. We will then make a more convenient connection with the NHSL at the Radnor station at 11:56. We will continue following US Route 30, aka East Lancaster Avenue, aka Lincoln Highway, exploring/discussing the trail design issues from there to St. Davids, where we will join the Radnor Trail. (The Radnor Trail begins on/paralleling North Radnor Chester Road, across from Chew Lane.) We will follow the Radnor Trail to its end at Sugartown Road in Strafford, and continue biking on into Valley Forge Historical Park. We have the option to extend our bike-ride via the Schuylkill River Trail (paralleling SEPTA Regional Rail for quick "bail-out" options) back towards Center City, as we did last year.
