Neuroscience & Philosophy – Part 2

On November 16, we will continue our discussion neuroscience & consciousness.

This time we consider the critiques given by Paul Churchland & Daniel Robinson.

Robinson’s comments are in the last section of the book Neuroscience and Philosophy.

Churchland’s comments are in his 2005 article “Cleansing Science”. A PDF version of his article can be found in the Meetup ‘files’ folder. On the home page under, look under the pull down menu ‘more’.

We may also revisit Daniel Dennett & John Searle.

The book Neuroscience and Philosophy is available from Amazon and other sources for between $10 and $20.

A PDF version of Neuroscience and Philosophy can be found in the Meetup ‘files’ folder. On the home page under, look under the pull down menu ‘more’.
