Donor management is something that almost every non-profit needs to do – and do well. There were very few data systems that were built to serve non-profits and their needs a few of years ago. Now, the problem is that there are way too many, all of which claim to be the “best” at helping non-profits manage their donor bases. How is a non-profit looking to overhaul their donor management system supposed to make sense of all of the hype?

In this interactive presentation, Erica Blake (Data Services Analyst at Tech Impact (http://techimpact.org/)) will provide a brief overview of some of the best systems currently on the market (at various price points), and answer questions you have about them. She’ll then walk you through the process of prioritizing your organization’s operational needs. Finally, Erica will help you use the prioritized list to identify which of the systems she's presented is likely to be the best fit for your specific requirements.

Cut through all of the marketing pamphlets, confusing pricing tiers, and incomparable feature lists, and come away with a clearer understanding of what your organization needs from its donor management system, and which systems best meet those needs.

Arrive as early as 6 to grab a snack and do some networking. The program will begin right at 6:30. RSVPs encouraged, but not required.
