Your organization or cause -- what are you passionate about?

Peace (Israel-Palestine; Iraq; Iran; Darfur); reproductive rights; micro-loans, especially to women, as strategy for lifting people out of poverty

Have you used technology for social change? If not, do you have plans/ideas/dreams about how you want to use it?

Viral video in AFSC's Wage Peace campaign had over 1 million views in its first year online. Would love to see citizen journalists posting real-time video from advocacy events, as a way to reach and involve house parties/meet-ups in remote locations.

What cool examples of technology for social change have you encountered?

Online gaming to teach nonviolent resistance against oppressive governments; was developed by a peace activist from Bosnia.

I'm a writer/producer who works with large and small nonprofits to promote advocacy & change and to deepen relationships between people and causes they care about. I'm eager to hear and share ideas that help nonprofits leverage new technologies.
