Please take a look at our events and see what takes your fancy. If you are ever a bit nervous about coming along for the first time, this is completely natural so do not fret! Some Meetup etiquette to get out of the way:
- Meetup dues. There is a £1 fee for each Meetup as with other groups as this helps towards the running costs of the group. I am not very good at asking for these dues so rely on lovely members to offer. If we are at a seated event there is usually a china turtle for you to pop the £1.
- To keep costs down we keep our membership to under 50 members. If you haven't visited for over 6 months we will be removing you from our membership to allow others to join. We encourage all members to remove themselves as members if they will not be able to attend for a while, which will give everyone the opportunity to attend when they want to, so please feel free to re-join when you have more time for one of our events.
- If you RSVP to an event, please give 24 hours notice if you cannot make it. If you are on the waiting list you might get invited at the last minute, so if you make other plans please remove yourself from the list as soon as you know.
- If you have special dietary requirements or mobility issues, please call the venue ahead of the meetup to ensure that you will be catered for.
