Garden of Tomorrow - Community Garden Volunteer Help Needed

Please join the Phoenix Philanthropists for an extraordinary morning as we team up with wonderful members of the local community to help Tiger Mountain Foundation bring sustainability to the community in the local garden. The morning also features local talent from an inter-generational and multicultural mix of community supporters, and a free cookout with delicious, fresh food from the garden.

There's no gardening experience necessary, and all ages are welcome, so bring the whole family.  Volunteers will first learn about the significant impact a community garden has in the community, then all tools and instruction are provided to get started on a beautiful morning of light gardening.  After less than two hours of making a difference, the wonderful entertainment and cookout begin. It's a phenomenal morning of experiencing what community is all about!

Important Information-

Tools Provided
Gardening tools and supplies are provided.

Age Restrictions
None! Open to all ages!

What to Bring
Refillable water bottle, and gloves (if you have them).

Tiger Mountain Foundation appreciates donations of any gardening tools you are no longer using.

As I just joined this morning, it is to late for me to join today's meeting. I look forward to being involved and knowing what events are available to help with in the future.

Hi, Anita! Welcome to the Phoenix Philanthropists! We're so happy you've joined us! Because there is an orientation/instruction up-front, it may be just a little too late now. Would you be able to attend the Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival to benefit struggling veterans? It's sure to be a lovely time, with great music, and beautiful art. There are two shifts, one starting at 9:30, the other at 12:30. Please see our calendar page atolunteers/events/calendar. Thank you! Hope to meet you at one of our fantastic projects soon!
