We will now be helping Project C.U.R.E. (http://projectcure.org/) the first Saturday of every month from 9 am to noon. We will sort and pack medical supplies and work in the warehouse if needed. No medical experience is necessary.
PROJECT C.U.R.E. (http://projectcure.org) (Commission on Urgent Relief & Equipment) was founded in 1987 to help meet the need for medical supplies, equipment and services around the world. PROJECT C.U.R.E. builds sustainable healthcare infrastructure by providing the medical supplies and equipment that medical personnel need to deliver healthcare to their communities. Since its inception, PROJECT C.U.R.E. has delivered medical relief to needy people in more than 120 countries around the world!
Your first step in getting started with Project C.U.R.E. is to register with them by going to https://www.cervistech.com/acts/console.php?console_id=0076&console_type=event and entering your email. After clicking the button, you should be prompted to fill out a brief application. All volunteers need to do this even if you have volunteered before as they have a new system.
Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. They have a free water cooler and a refrigerator that has bottled water and pop stocked in it that is available for volunteers for a small donation.
The location can be hard to spot. It is on the north side of street and in the Microchip Warehouse. You have to go north about a half of block and turn left into the warehouse parking lot. The entrance is on the southeast corner of the building. It is T-3 building. The phone number is 480-792-3740.
Please be aware we have multiple projects going on this day.
