This meetup is generally for us to hone our tennis skills. We will run practice drills, shot making, and cover different strategies. This is completely free and please keep in mind this will be for recreational players.
That said we will make adjustments where necessary and will make this as fun as possible. Our goal is to better our overall game play. After practicing for at least an hour or so then we can get some matches going.
*This Meetup is BYOB (Bring Your Own Balls) and water since since there isn't a water fountain nearby.
NOT SURE IF THIS MEETUP IS FOR YOU? PLEASE READ BELOW AND DECIDE.
Listed below is a modified disclaimer borrowed from one of our other PVTG events and am including it to this Meetup since it also applies:
This is NOT a Beginners "learn to play tennis as you go" event. This is for people that effectively play tennis, know how to keep score and keep it fun for the group to continue PLAYING TENNIS. I have tried kindly (and many others in the group have too) to recommend to beginners to take some lessons FIRST and once they know how to play tennis (keep a rally/point going etc.) then ....... come on out to practice & then play. The people that come to this event want to PLAY TENNIS and better their skills. This is why we recommend lessons 1st and once you can play tennis effectively come on out. This is for everyone’s benefit.
