Basics of Portrait Lighting

If you have been wanting to add strobes to your natural light photography, this is the workshop for you. We will start with a quick refresher on exposure and then move right into the types of lighting and modifiers, and how each can be used to solve problems. We will also be covering traditional portraiture lighting and building on that as we make some awesome art.

This is a hands-on session, so bring your camera and if you happen to own some lights, you can bring them as well. The studio does have quiet a few lights available for those who don't have equipment. This 4 hour session is $50 and will begin in the afternoon. We will also be mixing strobes with natural light and shooting a few models to make sure you get plenty of practice.
In the morning we also have a Manual Mode and Exposure class, which we recommend you also attend if you are not comfortable shooting in manual mode, as that is required to use strobes. You can pre-pay by sending a paypal payment to [masked].
