Tell us about your background in photography. How did you get started, and how long have you been into it?

Increase my knowledge, improve my skills, network with other like mind photograpers, build friendships.

What type of photography do you enjoy the most? People, landscapes, animals, fine art?

I have many favorites for different types of photography, but if I had to pick one it would be Pompeo. He had a great sense of style and a great eye for what looked like glamour and what wasn't. Sometimes it was just as simple as a look and hand placement or even as simple as lighting.

What kind of gear do you use? Do you still use film or are you all digital?

The rumored Canon 1D Mark V with a[masked]mm f/2.8L IS II. I have a 7D now with the same lens and its a workhorse, but I tried a friends Mark IV with the same lens and it just felt like I was taking better pictures and they looked better as well. The reason for the Mark V, is that its expected to be somewhere around 30MP+ with list of new and improved features.
