I'm going to break the rules a little and upload more than one photo. This is the "base" image. It is pretty well straight out of the camera with the tiniest of lightroom tweeks. My first question is: How is the subject? I found the mood of the older buildings interesting. I've been tempted to cut out the newer ones in the upper right. Would that improve this? At the same time I wanted to keep just what I was seeing. The old buildings gave me a mixed feeling of age, poverty and a "real" used/lived feeling. I have 3 images developed from this to upload next I'd like opinions on each. It's a cheat to upload more in one week but I'll use up my month's allotement and no one is loading much anyway. :)

Hi Paul, I'm thinking that there are elements that don't work, such as the office tower and tree in the top right, and there are elements missing as I want to know more about what's happening under the awning in the bottom left. The building to the right of the main building has interesting elements but the depth perception isn't working between the buildings and the pink porch with wonderful windows seems like an extension of the main building. I'm not sure what you could do to make this particular photo better in terms of cropping.
