Another one of our (semi) regular evenings and something that we have done from time to time as a bit of a fun evening.
Every attending member will bring along three images on a memory stick.
There will be two teams, each in charge of a seperate computer with their team members photos on them. These will be wittled down to a designated number (probably 25).
Each team will take it in turns to select one of their images and display it. It is then up to the opposing team to "match" the image from their stock. The matching process will be purely subjective and it is up to the "adjudicating officer" who will be selected on the night to deem if it is a match or not. That judgement is final (although it will probably be held against the judge for the coming year!)
Best idea is to have a selection of "unusual" images and some "common" images to make it more likely for matches to occur.
It can be a fun evening and is often raucous with a lot of "discussions" about the judgement. It is up to the team attempting to match to make their points on why the image is a match (and believe me they can be extremely obscure!)
Bring along a memory stick with your images on them and a set of ear defenders if certain individuals get slightly "loud"!
