What would you call your style?

I don't really know if I have a "style," but I love taking vacation pictures as well as landscape photographs of places I've been to. I also take literally thousands of shots of my friends and family every year, especially of my niece and nephews. I also really like HDR photography.

Is photography part of your profession?

It's starting to be a small part, and I would like to do much more. I have been shooting some sporting events, notably marathons, but I also have done other types of events.

Have you had any of your work published, exhibited?

Not published as art, but it has been used in company brochures and press releases; my marathon shots have been used for sale by the company that hires me to take these pictures.

Will you be willing to assist in planning meetups

I love photography and travelling. I've shot many pictures on my travels...Europe many times, in addition to living there; Belize; Death Valley; Eastern Sierra Mountains; Smoky Mountains; Kauai; New York; Chicago; Memphis; and many other places.

What Richard D. is saying about this Meetup Group

Not sure how many Meetups I've been to since I first joined last November, but it's been great! It's nice meeting new people who share the same interest in photography; various events have been great; and it seems as if you always learn something new from someone at an event.
