(with thanks to Google Maps, this is where we'll be)
As you're surely all aware, the first Saturday in July every year is International Free Hugs Day. For the past several years Marcia and I have brought our Free Hugs posters out to the Homecoming Statue at Ship's Point to share hugs with both residents and vistors alike. We've hugged hundreds of people from over a dozen countries... so far!
Marcia and I will be out there on Friday, but unfortunately Marcia works Saturdays. So, I thought I'd open it to you instead. You can come as a photographer, a hugger, or both. All it takes is an open heart and a smile. We have two posters so you're welcome to borrow one of ours or you can make your own and bring it with you!
It can be a little scary at first, but it's a wonderful experience. Your life will never be the same. You can read more about our hugging adventures here: http://www.wolfnowl.com/category/random_thoughts/free_hugs/
Might even be fun.
