BECOME A PRO!
How many times have you gone out with your camera, and after a full day of shooting, checked all your photos and thought that they were missing something? Do you want to learn a technique that can help you get that extra edge, a technique used by the most seasoned wildlife photographers?
Then come to this meetup and learn how to use Flash in wildlife photography!!!!
Your photos will not look overblown or unnatural with flash: they will become much sharper, crispier and you will return home mastering a new trick. Flash can help you get a dreamy look when taking photos of wildlife inside the water, and it will allow you to get much more details in your shots. This and many more things will be explained during the workshop.
There are limited spaces in this meetup, and consider this a PREMIUM service that I offer. If you do not want me to teach you how to use flash, then you can still come along to this other meetup. It´s EXACTLY the same meetup as this one, BUT I will not teach you how to use flash and I will only provide you with basic and intermediate tuition.
So put simply, come to this meetup if you want basic and intermediate tuition, and come to the meetup described hereby if you want me to spend individual time with you teaching you how to use flash. BOTH MEETUPS TAKE PLACE DURING THE SAME DAY AND SAME TIME, THE DIFFERENCE IS WHAT YOU WANT ME TO TEACH YOU.
1) What do I need to bring to this workshop? Obviously, a Flash. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR FLASH HAS ETTL-iTTL. Bring many batteries ( 8 should be fine) and you will need to buy a Better Beamer for your flash (buy it here):
2) A flash is annoying and there´s NO WAY a flash can reach an animal X meters away! And why am I going to want to want to use flash if I´m shooting in a sunny day? That´s why I´m telling you that you need a better beamer, to get extra range with your flash. Plus, this is wildlife photography. We enjoy nature and that means getting wet, carrying gear around... And remember that you might be shooting in a sunny day, but your animal might be in a shadowy area. I will explain all of this during the day of the workshop.
3) The flash might hurt the animal!: If flash was harmful to any living being, then Cindy Crawford would be blind by now. No, seriously, there is no scientific evidence that suggests that a flash can hurt an animal. There are situations where PEOPLE can hurt animals if they are not respectful to them, and this can happen with or without flash, but this is not accepted in this meetup group and they will be explained during the workshop.
4) OMG this workshop is expensive!: Look in google and you will find that there really aren´t many people teaching this IN LONDON. Outside London, you can find some companies that ONLY organise this activity once a year and they charge something around 130 pounds. So, I don´t think I´m expensive at all. Plus this meetup is in a place that replicates the conditions that you will find in real life (forest, jungle, etc) and the London Wetland Center is a place that is respectful towards animals.
See you soon!
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
