Announcing the Really Really Free Photography Lessons Meetup.
If you have never been to the Carrboro Really Really Free Market you are in for a treat. There are plenty of photo opportunities to practice event shooting.
Let's meet in the parking lot next next to the Carrboro Town Hall and then walk across the parking lot to the Town Commons Pavilion to shoot for an hour or so. If there's time we can walk over to Southeastern Camera iin Carrboro and ogle camera equipment before they close at 4 PM. After the event, we can gather at Weaver Street Market in Carrboro to discuss the day's shoot and share photos with each other. It's all within walking distance.
Prior to shooting we can discuss the best way to approach someone in public to take their photograph. Also covered will be how to get over your shyness when shooting strangers. The main point of this meetup will be to practice shooting people and things during a public event and to have F-U-N!
Here's a link to explain a bit more about this event.
Here's a photo I took back in November at this event.
See y'all there!
