November 10 Meeting

From: Marcus L.
Sent on: Saturday, November 10, 2007 8:03 PM

Michael and All,

I enjoyed the meetup this morning. It seems that I came to the right place to learn the Photoshop ropes and meet some good people. I hope I will eventually be able to contribute to the group.

The book that is a great beginner’s guide to Elements is “Photoshop Elements 5, The Missing Manual”, by Barbara Brundage. I got a good start following the tutorials and functional descriptions in that book.

Elements does not have a mask associated with image layers. Masks work only in adjustment and fill layers. There is a FREE download available at I downloaded it and tried it. It works just like the real thing.

Thanks Gang!

Marcus Lossner (Mark)
