Symfonising with Drupal 8: Becoming part of the Orchestra

PHP Cambridge and DrupalCambs are co-organising an meetup on Mon 28th April where on the topic of Drupal and Symfony! Come along to the Cambridge Brewhouse to meet local people from the Drupal and PHP community. We're meeting upstairs in the Tank Room at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

Our speaker for the evening is Will Hall, a summary of his talk is below.

An introduction to the new concepts and ideas of Drupal 8. As you may already know that Drupal 8 core has started using some Symfony Components to replace some parts of the core system. I will be presenting the main ideas behind this introducing Drupal 8, Symfony Components and why it will both be an improvement for Drupal and PHP as a whole.
