Let's talk PHP

Hey Everyone,

It's been a while since our last meeting so let's get together and hear what everyone's been working on. The last few meetings have been really great to share projects and learn about new libraries, APIs, and general developments in PHP.

Here's the agenda of what we'll talk about for now and would love to get some other suggestions if you have them:

1) Introductions (Working on anything interesting?)

2) What's new? (Talk about latest development or emerging technologies)

3) We have 2 great topics that will be presented:

Lincoln Russell from VanillaForums.com - Building a product for consumers vs. business. What it's like working in a B2B startup, and what a corporate buyer is looking for vs an individual.

Nathan Labenz from Stik.com - Nathan will share the single-table inheritance strategy that Stik used to organize their database schema and PHP classes to integrate their application with Facebook. He'll share lessons learned and why they chose the solution they did.

4) Q&A (Are you stuck on an issue or looking for an outside perspective?)

* If you have a job announcement or are looking for a developer, please post on the message board.

Looking forward to seeing everybody!
