Hey guys!

Just wanted to send a note out to everyone in the Detroit PHP Users Group to invite them to attend the Walsh College Open Source meeting tomorrow morning at 10:00AM.

I think this session will be of particular interest to this group, as we will be having representatives from Modis (a Recruiting firm) doing a presentation about Technology Jobs in the Detroit area.  I know for a fact that they are seriously looking for people with SQL and PHP skills....and having a tough time filling these positions.  This tells me that companies are going to be forced to start paying programmers more money.

This session will answer questions such as...What is the salary range for PHP/Java/etc programmers in this area?  What exact skills are they looking for?  How do they measure these skills?  What is the interview process like for these jobs?

I hope you can attend and PLEASE tell your tech/geek friends.
