About: Storyplayer is a new open-source tool for quickly creating reliable, repeatable tests for your websites and your back-end processes alike. Written in PHP, Storyplayer is easily extended to support your unique product or service, and is designed to run against dev, test and production sites.
Stuart Herbert is a highly experienced software engineer and operational manager who explores his professional and personal passions through teaching, talks, and writing. His career to date includes projects and/or roles with household names including Eurostar, Hewlett-Packard, Orange, Vodafone, and the Ordnance Survey. He was a co-author of the Zend Certified Study Guide for PHP 4, has written for php|architect magazine, has spoken at PHP conferences on both sides of the Atlantic, and is the author of Getting Hired. Stuart is currently a senior engineer at DataSift (http://datasift.com/), one of the world's leading Big Data startups, where he leads Quality Assurance and Graduate Recruitment.
