I don't know if anyone is interested at this point, but if you are, here are some sites I found that might have clear or only partly cloudy skies:

Mt. Hamilton - 1hr. 10 min from San Francisco
Mt. Diablo - about an hour from SF
Diablo Valley College - Pleasant Hill campus 40 min from SF; San Ramon campus 48 min from San Francisco
St. Mary's College - 37 minutes from SF

Also, the time I originally posted is a little late. I think by 10:00 pm, we should be able to see some meteors.
