**Goal: Finish a coding project in 8 weeks**
LAB8 is an 8-week alternative bootcamp in Montréal for self-directed learners who want to become proficient programmers and developers. It’s a peer-to-peer, project-based, collaborative learning program designed to help you develop the skills, mindset and network to build a career you love, doing work that matters.
In this information session we'll explain what to expect from our program and how it is different from regular bootcamps.
You've seen our website https://www.lab8.org but want to talk to a live person? Come to this info session!
If you can't come but would like to talk to us directly, please send us a message here and a leave number to get in touch: https://www.lab8.org/contact-us
LAB8 has been running for 3 years and have hosted 7 cohorts by the Montreal nonprofit Les Pitonneux.
If you've already heard of LAB12, we have spent the last few months solidifying and improving the program and renamed it to LAB8. The primary reason for this is so you can start coding right away, instead of spend the first 4 weeks in non-coding related workshops.
"LAB12 was the start for everything for me as a developer. I have contacts with other developers internationally and enjoy the freedom in life that I have been seeking for." - Manny, Web Dev @ Compass
"The program created my career, I don't think I would have gotten any job without it. It's amazing creating a network. Coming from a purely academic background I didn't even know how to talk about tech, so learning with others who came from nothing was very empowering. Having mentors from industry in the room with us too was great, I wouldn't have a chance to be mentored" - Antsa, Data Engineer @ MoveAI
Registrations are open for the Fall 2019 cohort starting 1 July. Places are limited, so apply now!
