What is your current level of beer knowledge? (Novice? Connoisseur? Somewhere in between?) We won't judge you (much) if you say "novice". ;-)

I host Craft Beer School once a month downtown for 260 craft beer lovers and learners. That doesn't mean I know a lot about beer. I am constantly learning along with everyone else.

What are some of your favorite beers? (Style, brewery, season...use whatever descriptors you like.)

I like porters and some stouts. Brother David's double, Young's double chocolate stout, Not a big fan of IPAs but I'll try anything once.

Most of our events are just weeknight social gatherings at local watering holes with good beer selections. How much interest do you have in other events such as beer tastings, day trips to breweries/brewpubs, etc? Have any ideas for us?

Weeknights are best for me usually. Weekend getaways are tough and I usually do brewery tours if I am already planning a road trip or vacation.

Hello all. I'm a Pittsburgh native, always interested in trying new craft beers, visiting breweries and brewpubs, and think it's best done with friends, both new and old.

What K Susan Plummer S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Had a very nice time at the Meetup. Next time I go I will try to get off my butt and meet even more new folks - it's a little intimidating walking into a room where you know no one. But both Mike and Brooke were welcoming.
