What is your current level of beer knowledge? (Novice? Connoisseur? Somewhere in between?) We won't judge you (much) if you say "novice". ;-)

Novice I suppose. I've tried 100+ beers, even kept a short journal at one point. But I'm not the type that can pick out subtle nuances or can differentiate between types of hops.

What are some of your favorite beers? (Style, brewery, season...use whatever descriptors you like.)

Yuengling Traditional Lager, Otter Creek Copper Ale, Duckrabbit Milk Stout, Saranac's seasonal variety packs, pale ales in general, Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale, Lindemans' Framboise, Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald...

Most of our events are just weeknight social gatherings at local watering holes with good beer selections. How much interest do you have in other events such as beer tastings, day trips to breweries/brewpubs, etc? Have any ideas for us?

I've never been on a brewery tour. Sounds legit. No suggestions at this point.

Introduction

I'm 23, started drinking beer about 6mo after turning 21. Guinness was the first beer that I actually enjoyed, and am subscribed to Beer Advocate magazine.
