Announcing a new Meetup for The Pittsburgh Beer Meetup!

What: Pittsburhg Bottleshop Cafe - Bridgeville

When: Wednesday, September 8,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe
1597 Washington Pike
Bridgeville, PA 15017

Hello all,
I would like to announce a Meetup at the Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe in Bridgeville, Wednesday Sept 8th at 6:30PM.

The Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe features over 350 beers from around the world with 31 on tap. The decor is rich and distinctive, showcasing a 35 foot soft pine bar with high tech lighting and a contemporary flair. The dining area is set apart in an open room.

I have only been there once and it was last Friday night. Even though the place was PACKED, my friend and I were never without a drink for long. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender even went over to the cooler, which is across the seating area, to get our bottles. She was very attentive considering the large number of people that were there.

One thing that was a HUGE plus for me, which might not be for others, was that the bartender actually cut off the guy next to us. I was not paying attention to him but she decided that he had had enough and cut him off. He started begging for one more (just a little) and she even told the other bartender that this guy was cut off. Props for the staff for doing that and props to the management for supporting it. Attentive responsible staff, thumbs up!

A detailed menu, including prices, is available on the website. Unfortunately a beer menu is not, but I assure you that they have a very good selection of bother bottles and drafts. Detailed directions are also available on their website.

** And now for the big prize: Erik Grieco, the manager, has offered each member in attendance one FREE draft. That?s right, not $1 off, not half off. Your first draft is FREE! We will all have to thank him for that offer!
